Welcome to week one in A Year of
Gifting hosted by Imagine Peace Foundation.
In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day I thought it would be
appropriate to donate to the "I Have a Dream" Foundation to honor his
legacy. Below is the Vision and Mission
of the foundation and how you can contribute.
Remember the minimum donation is $3.00-$10.00 and I have provided a link
on how you can donate online or through the mail. If you'd like you can put in the notes

OUR VISION
Our
vision is that one day, all children in this nation will have the
opportunity to pursue higher education and to fully capitalize on their
talents, aspirations, and leadership to have fulfilling careers and create a
better world.
OUR MISSION
The
"I Have A Dream" Foundation empowers children in low-income
communities to achieve higher education and fulfill their leadership potential
by providing them with guaranteed tuition support and equipping them with the
skills, knowledge, and habits they need to gain entry to higher education and
succeed in college and beyond.
By helping our Dreamers gain access to college, we are putting our
Dreamers on a different academic and life trajectory, while having a broader
impact on the students' families and the generations that follow.

I donated through the website since I'm familiar with the organization
taking the donations, but you can also mail your contribution in Denver to 1836 Grant Street; Denver, CO 80203. You can also choose to volunteer your time
