Project C.U.R.E
I learned about Project
C.U.R.E from a friend who was
volunteering at the Denver location. She
spoke about the needs assessment that is done on site by a Project C.U.R.E team member.
They observed sutures removed post surgery. The Project C.U.R.E team member asked why the doctor did not just
cut the sutures and remove the short pieces.
The response. . . "Because we re-use them."
